Our Story
I grew up in a family of skilled tradesmen who taught me the value of taking pride in one’s work. From the time my grandfather showed me the picture of his father installing the original spire on the Empire State Building, I knew this is what I wanted to do. Being a fourth generation electrician is a matter of pride for me.
After serving in the US Coast Guard, I applied to and was accepted into the electrical apprenticeship program with Local Union #3, IBEW in New York City. During the 6 year program, I acquired the skills and confidence to become a Journeyman electrician. For the next 20 years, I worked in the five boroughs of New York City, focusing primarily on commercial and industrial high rise work.
In this ever-changing industry, I continued to upgrade my skills in order to remain relevant. Today I am able to offer my clients top quality electrical skill in both residential and commercial areas that ensure code compliant and aesthetically pleasing installations.
In July 2020 my wife Andrea and I made the decision to relocate to West Dover, Vermont. I received my Master Electricians License in Vermont shortly after our move. After becoming licensed and insured, DANDA Electric was created and a life’s dream materialized. We are thrilled to call Vermont our home!
